Is it an important event? Then chances are I missed it.
I forget my anniversary. I plan to teach classes on my husband’s birthday. And I have to check my file cabinet to know when Honey came home with us.
I’ve done it again.
Something Wagging This Way Comes published its first post on March 23, four years ago. It was the day before we picked up Honey. I referred to a puppy as “anticipation in a fur coat.”
In four years, I’ve made more friends than I could ever have imagined. Read so many great blogs. And learned more about troubleshooting WordPress problems than I ever wanted to know.
But most of all, the inspiration for the blog, my own little Something Wagging, has grown into a beautiful and mature dog.

Happy Blogiversary, Pamela. It’s been a great four years. Something Wagging has grown and matured like Honey has, while still remaining playful.
Congratulations! Funny, we were just talking about how different our lives would be if we hadn’t adopted Jack…hard to picture. Honey was a sweet little bundle of fur wasn’t she.
Congrats! Every time you post I am grateful you share your life and the lives of those you love with us! I hope for you there are many, many more happy years ahead.

Wow! Four years. That’s nearly how long we’ve had our dogs. I wish I would have been reading back then. That would have prepared us a little for what we had in store.
