Since Valentine’s Day has fallen on a Monday, I’m taking a break from the Puppiness Project to share some Valentine’s love.

Don’t you know that Golden Retriever and black sweater do not mix? Oh well, if you don’t care, I sure don’t.

First to my sweetie who loves carrying Honey around (even at nearly 50 pounds), loves having his picture turn up in Something Wagging, and loves me. Thank you for being my Valentine.

My Fuzzy Valentine

My fuzzy valentine,
Sweet puppy valentine,
You make me smile when you fart.
You are so laughable, your zoomies graphable,
And yet you tear my socks apart.

Is your love expressed in barks?
Did you steal balls ‘round the parks?
When you go outside at dark, will you pee?

But, don’t change your fur for me.
You’re the best cur to me.
Stay little valentine, stay! (No, not walk over to your toy. Stay!)
Each day is Valentine’s Day.

    There’s a lot of awwwwing in my comments today.

    I realized some bloggers in the States must be waking up because there was a sudden burst of activity on my google reader, just as I was about to turn out the lights and say goodnight.       Y’know, I’m glad to have a friend in Australia. That way, I can read your blog and know that the world hasn’t come to an end yet because you’ve already made it to the end of the day by the time I’m waking up.

    Awwww! You are too sweet. Thank YOU!! I am feeling very lazy and behind these days, very guilty all around. But I am trying to forgive myself my imperfections. I’m not very big into Valentine’s Day but perhaps for a little while I can show myself some love and take a break.
