Exciting News!
You may remember my post for the BISSELL-BlogPaws Blog Carnival in which I told the story of adopting Shadow from the Tompkins County SPCA in Casting a Long Shadow – A Pet Adoption Story.
Well, guess what? I was a runner-up in the contest winning a $1,000 grant for the Tompkins County SPCA. Hooray!
And the post I thought was a likely winner, Kim Clune’s tale of adopting her bird Beelzebub, was the other runner up.
But the grand prize winner of the carnival receiving a $2,500 grant for her Black & Orange Cat Foundation, is Robin Craft.
Congratulations, Robin and Kim, for writing such great posts. And thank you to BlogPaws and BISSELL for hosting the carnival and making the gifts to our favorite animal organizations.
Wonderful news — congratulations to you and to the Tompkins County SPCA for your well deserved win!
Wow, congratulations!!! That’s fabulous, and definitely deserved. Your story was wonderful. Big round of applause from us!!
Congratulations. We’re off to read them all.
Congrats! : )
Well done, Pamela:) I haven’t read the winning story, off to do that now. I hope Oonagh finds her forever home soon. She looks lovely:)
Congratulations on the big win! That’s fantastic! It was such a terrific contest and I am so happy so many animals will be helped as a result of all of the entrants’ dedication.
Oonagh is so cute. For some reason, beagles are one of the hardest dogs to adopt out in Nova Scotia shelters. It makes no sense to me. Who can resist those ears?
Congratulations! I thought your story was a great one, and I’m not surprised that you did so well!
Rah rah Pamelah! Way to go! (the extra h is on purpose) 🙂
So another $1,000 on top of the $675 raised Saturday? You are a force to be reckoned with!
Congratulations Pamela!!
I love beagles, my hubby says no but I love them.
How wonderful!! Such a great piece, you deserved it.
Congratulations! What a great prize. I always love finding ways I can give back!
Wow! Really fantastic news Pamela! I always love it when the surprises you get are nice ones like these. 🙂
Way to go! What a pawsome prize too. I’m going to jump over and read the stories now. And congrats to Kim and Robin too!
Yay, congratulations to all of you! What an awesome way to help your favorite rescue groups 🙂
Oh! I like that girl. She is pretty!
Congratulations!! That’s awesome news!
