I still make sure I keep things like remote controls and mobile phones out of Frankie’s reach just to be on the safe side. Do you still not have a TV or mobile? Riley was almost 2 years old and still quite the puppy and a large one at that. He had a bit of a thing about the floor length curtain where he used to lie in the lounge room though, lol. That was a new one on me 🙂

Seeing as your new puppy is a Bassett baby you shouldn’t have to worry about anything more than about 18″ off the ground … hopefully. Looking forward to photos. Have fun.

I babysat a puppy a few weeks ago and resolved to have only mature dogs in my life from now on. I was never that big on diapers and bottles either. I prefer to deal with the age of reason.

If the dog can’t reach it, I don’t mind.

You know, puppy Silas never once even thought about chewing a book? We have them all over the house, all the way down to just a few inches off the floor. One time in desperation I tried to let him tear up a magazine, and he thought I was crazy.
