I’m always missing candid shots because I’ve usually got the wrong lens on my camera and by the time I change it the moment is over.

That’s a Greyhound trait, grabbing a toy to give to visitors 🙂 It’s not one Beryl has though. She expects the presents, lol!

Since I started blogging, Mom is pretty good about capturing moments we would never have captured before my blog started, but now and then she realizes when it is too late that she should have captured something like the other day when Bailie beat up and busted out of her pop up kennel.

When Koly & Fe are excited about something, they often do a turn or two in perfect unisom. The only catch is that you never know when it’s coming and I NEVER have the camera out to capture it. It’s awful.

In reply to Pamela. I'm so sorry. Lady is almost 15 and she's got some health issues. We call her a Rottador :-) She and her brother, Bear, who left me in 2011, are thought to be chow, lab and rottweiler. Even though they were the same litter, Bear was 100 pounds and Lady has never quite been able to hit 50. He had a thicker wavier Chow coat, and she has the lab's smoothness. They had identical marketings, just like your Shadow. And the very best personalities I've ever known in a dog.
