I am always amazed at the individuality of dogs and their total unpredictability. That bike cart kind of scares me though.

I, too, remember the bike-cart saga. Poor Honey! Can’t say as I blame her — she wanted to be NEXT to you, not in a cart like a bag of groceries! Maybe Cherie felt safe in the cart because it was similar to a crate?

LOL. I do remember your bike cart saga. It is, in fact, one of the reasons I never tried one with Silas. Maybe I should, though–he might take to it like Cherie.

Oh boy! At my house I think my jealousy would cure any issues like that. I have found myself doing and taking things I don’t usually do just to spite my little sister. Mom says I need to grow up and put my big girl fur on.

I am VERY much going through this right now. Bauer and I have never really “bonded” – I always say, Snoopy is Chris’s dog, Jeni is my dog, and Bauer is the dogs’ dog. Combine that with the recent discovery of his hip dysplasia which is totally not his fault but frustrating anyway, and I have been very “meh” on Bauer lately.

Now bring in our new three legged foster who is technically ours right now anyway – this dog is the SWEETEST thing in the world, best cuddler, bonded with me immediately, follows me around, sleeps next to me etc. and boy do I want to keep him. I love Bauer and I know the foster’s perfect home is out there somewhere but boy… lots of conflicting guilty feelings going on right now, that’s for sure!
