2/3 of those movies are acceptable reasons to miss a graduation ceremony 😉

Honorary GR, huh? I like that! I wish my Mom were here – physically – to share that with! She’d get a kick out of it.

As for Sam’s birthday, I think we’ll just keep it private. Maybe dinner at The Melting Pot. I’m at a point in my life where I prefer to keep celebrations – big & small – low key, at least in public. I might mention it on the blog when the time comes; but not in a restaurant where they make an embarrassingly huge deal out of such things.

St. Patrick’s Day isn’t known for it’s cake.

But March 17 is also the date of Julius Caesar’s last military victory in 45 B.C. (Battle of Munda). Since there aren’t many ancient Roman’s around today, I don’t think anyone would mind if you celebrated with a little slice of something. 🙂

Yep, every day celebrations are the best. We never know how many days we have on this earth so it’s best not to wait around for special occasions.

That said, I’m often sorry that days less publicly celebrated days sneak up on me, like solstice and the equinoxes. Every year, I vow to pay more attention to the sky and celebrate the planets. But I never keep up.

If you celebrate wonderful little moments all the time, then you’re an honorary golden retriever, Sue. 🙂

Do you have big plans for Sam’s 65th? Go on, you can tell me. I don’t think he reads my blog. 🙂

I can’t wait to see that selfie. And maybe you add a party hat to your pic of Sampson in PicMonkey since he’s not feeling a party mood today.

Even so, Sampson and Delilah have a lot to celebrate about having such a loving person taking care of them. 🙂

You know I’m old, right, Jen? Even if I wasn’t prone to senior moments, I doubt my ability to remember any movies I saw in 1983. 🙂

But looking at at list of movies that came out that year, I’d guess Flashdance, Risky Business, or my fond high school fave, Vacation.
