On those days when I’m just too physically and mentally tired to make the effort, even for them, they don’t complain or nag. I love my dogs 🙂

Our dog trainer used to say about Jack “Whatever you are doing right now is Jack’s FAVORITE thing to do”. Makes me laugh because that is exactly what he’s like.

But one of my favorite things about dogs is that they don’t have a million expectations of me. There is no ‘you haven’t called me in ages’ etc . For example, when I go on holiday and they don’t see me for a week or two, when we reunite, everyone’s happy. When I come home, and I am too tired to be funny, or witty, or intellectual, or any of those things that comprise a personality, they still want to hang out with me.
