Unicorn Spotting – Wordless Wednesday

We see interesting creatures as cruising sailors—pelicans, cormorants, jellyfish.

But this is the first spotting of something we thought was imaginary.

Honey the golden retriever finds a sailboat named unicorn.

Isn’t a unicorn that lives in the water called a narwhal?

Your turn: If you owned a boat, what would you name it?

  9. I asked my hubby what he would name a boat, and he said, “The Jean Marie, of course!” Can I get a collective “Ahh” for a sweet hubby?

  10. That does not look very imaginary to me. Looks kind of real. MOL

  12. When Mom was still alive, and Dad had his boat to go fishing in, Mom always called it “Wally’s Folly” because Dad never named it. My grandparents’ friends – Uncle Al & Aunt Edith – named their fishing boat “Pokey”. Our own boat didn’t have a name either because we could never agree on one. We just called it “the boat”. Or, “the hole in the water into which we poured money”.

  13. HA! – what would I call a boat if I owned one? The Doodle Dandy of course!
