Something Wagging This Way Comes
An Amateur's Musings on Dogs and Their People
You’ve heard of first world problems. But your true suffering comes from Dog World Problems.
YES! I have that problem all the time. I wait and wait til I am going to burst!
And when you do get up you feel so cold.
Isn’t that the truth!
Ha ha, they say I’m too heavy for that! But you should see the looks the cats give them when they have to move for a biped to get up!
In our family, having a dog on your lap automatically excuses you from being the one who has to answer the phone or check whatever is cooking. Is it any wonder I try so hard to be their favorite?
That is a dilemma.
From the Husband:
Y’know, I had no idea she had to use the restroom when I snapped that picture. She hides it well.
Also, you *know* that if you get up to go to the bathroom, the dogs will have taken your warm by the time you come back.
LOL! I know exactly what that is like!!! 😀
BOL… good one! Definitely a dog world problem.
Hahaha been there before!
That happens to Mom a lot these days because she doesn’t want Bailie to get up once she is settled down!
YEP! Last night it was a leg cramp, but Newt and Cooper were zonked on my lap… so I suffered through it. 🙂
Oh yes… Our Mum has that problem all the time! 🙂
Lots of love from Solo and Krissy 🙂
I have one of those motorized couches. As soon as they hear and feel the foot part start to go down, they skedaddle. So I don’t feel like I just peel them off or unceremoniously dump them off my lap. BTW, great picture…I had to laugh. Six Dachshunds and a cat don’t cover that much territory!
Happens so often, especially with Mity – it is so rare he sits anywhere near me that when he does I dare not breath for fear of scaring him off!
This mostly happens to me in the middle of the night. If I get up, I might wake the puppy or even our beagle Cricket and then they’ll have to go outside!
OMG, Too Funny!! When I still had Kissy, I always had that problem!!!! My current 3 will spend some time on my lap when I sit on the couch, but usually just curl up on one of the dog beds or the other end of the couch. It’s a good thing, too, cuz Callie & Shadow both weigh more than 70 lbs! Ducky just likes to stretch out.
So true! I’m loving your Dog World Problems… will these be a regular feature? 🙂
