  1. I’m not sure this inter-species relationship will ever work out, but go for it Honey, you deserve some happiness 😉

  2. That’s so sweet… I wish Boomer and Dottie would feel that way about their toys!

  3. Does hedgehog have a name? Honey looks so sweet with him, and by that look in his eyes, I’d say he’s in love too!

  4. Awww, and we are in love with this photo! Happy WW!!!

  5. Great photo. She looks very content, and smitten.

  6. So cute! I wish Theo would stop biting the faces off of all his toys.

  7. Love your hedgehog!

  8. The hedgehog looks a little worried.

  9. What is the deal with hedgehogs? “Everyone” has one or likes one or adopted a real one. They are cute, especially with Honey cuddled next to her stuffed one (ooh, don’t tell her that) but I find the current fascination with them interesting. Love on, Honey!

    • Yeah, I don’t know where the trend started. But I bet it’s not so good for the poor hedgehogs.

In our case, I picked this one up because it had a squeaky that sounded like a duck–much easier on the ears than Honey’s usual favorite. :)

  10. Awww, it must be so good to have a dog that doesn’t disembowel their stuffies at the first opportunity. I wish Honey and Hedgehog many happy years together.

  11. They say love is in the eye of the beholder and right now Honey seems to “beholding”

  12. If anyone can make a complicated relationship Honey can!!

    • Let’s try that again “If anyone can make a complicated relationship WORK Honey can.” Wow you miss out one word and suddenly the whole sentence changes. My intention was to point out how lovely Honey is, and how well you have brought her up to be able to overcome challenges and instead I make her sound like some sort of diva dog who will be all demanding and sassy and the entire reason for a relationship being hard work!

      • I knew what you meant. But it gave me a good laugh. :)

Now if you wrote, “If anyone could make a complicated relationship AGATHA could,” (my neurotic first dog), it would have fit perfectly.

  13. What a sweet couple :) I don’t think I’ve ever had a dog that loved a toy this much. If they really loved a toy, they ate it.
