Since Valentine’s Day has fallen on a Monday, I’m taking a break from the Puppiness Project to share some Valentine’s love.
First to my sweetie who loves carrying Honey around (even at nearly 50 pounds), loves having his picture turn up in Something Wagging, and loves me. Thank you for being my Valentine.
And secondly to my Honey.
(with sincere apologies to Richard Rodgers and Lorenz Hart)
My Fuzzy Valentine
My fuzzy valentine,
Sweet puppy valentine,
You make me smile when you fart.
You are so laughable, your zoomies graphable,
And yet you tear my socks apart.
Is your love expressed in barks?
Did you steal balls ‘round the parks?
When you go outside at dark, will you pee?
But, don’t change your fur for me.
You’re the best cur to me.
Stay little valentine, stay! (No, not walk over to your toy. Stay!)
Each day is Valentine’s Day.
Thirdly, I need to share some linky love with fellow pet bloggers who published sweet Valentine’s Day posts. Since it would be very bad form to show so much love to bloggers that I neglected my first two Valentines, I’m just going to post the links without comments. Please check them out.
And if you posted Valentine’s love today and I missed you, please put a link in the comments.
And finally, I went by Rescued Insanity to see if Kristine had posted something (she writes great stuff and she publishes about the same time I do most days; I always seek her out). I found she had left a Valentine for me–a Shivie award!
Thank you, Kristine. This is a very high compliment from the tireless blogger who comments at every site in cyberspace, trains Shiva to leap tall buildings (or at least agility courses) in a single bound, and writes consistently great posts.
