Christmas Safari Scandal – Wordless Wednesday (?)

Several CEOs have created scandals after tweeting beaming pictures of them beside their safari kills. In the name of being fully transparent, I’m posting pictures of my recent Christmas safari.

Here’s my husband strapping my kill to the back of my bike.

Strapping the tree on the cart at the Christmas safari.

Good man!

Here’s the obligatory shot showing me beside my kill so you can judge its size and my prowess.

What’s Christmas without steampunk animals?

And finally, here’s Honey posing near my kill displayed in our home.

Honey after the Christmas safari.

Such a lot of fuss. If you had taken me, I would have gotten one much bigger.

No animals were harmed in this Christmas safari adventure. Unless it’s harmful that Honey didn’t get to go along because we needed her bike cart to transport the kill.

Trees? Not so much. However her end was quick and humane and she remains loved, even in death.

Happy Christmas if you celebrate the day. And if you don’t, Happy Forced Day Off. I hope everyone makes the most of it.
