When Honey and I go to our favorite creek, I see this mysterious life form.

Honey the Golden Retriever's furry feet look like coral waving in the water.

    • Honey’s just standing on a rock in the river. It’s the wave of her fur that reminds me of coral.

      I guess I just have a weird way of looking at the world, Sue. :)

  5. Swishing toe fur…it looks so relaxing. I’ve never seen coral or anemones up close (a diver I am NOT!) but swishing toe fur is a beautiful sight.

  7. And Honey just stood there so still! The gentle ripples probably felt good to her. I love to see a dog when they put their head underwater to get a stick or chase a minnow or something. So cute!

  10. It’s lovely, the flowing fur. My dogs frequently stare down houseflies and backyard bunnies.

  11. I love a dog with fluffy toes. Rita’s toes are boring. Our last pup, Abby, used to have these neat whorls in her fur. I took some major close up shots of them once.
