Attack Puppy Video – Wordless Wednesday

We just took our foster puppy, Bandit, to the Tompkins County SPCA where he’ll be neutered and put up for adoption.

Honey’s a little sad.

So I thought I’d post a snippet of video for her to watch. I hope it cheers her up.

Bandit the Foster Puppy and Honey the Golden Retriever wait patiently at the back door.

How do you take a picture of a puppy who is always moving without him licking the camera lens? Take the picture through a glass door.

Good luck, little Bandit. You’ve certainly stolen Honey’s heart.

How do your dogs respond when visitors leave? Does it depend on the visitor?

  6. Each time we left Oz’s house he cried…Really cried…His mom said he kept it up for quite a while…Gizmo usually goes to the window and watches when folks leave

  7. Bandit is funny and cute. I’m sure he’ll find a good home and will make his family happy.

  8. You could adopt Bandit yourself so Honey has a playmate when you’re unable to take her with you. :-)

  14. Aaawww. Honey is such a good foster big sis! And Bandit is destined to be someone’s very best friend. I know it’s bittersweet but I know I always took comfort in how amazing Sadie & Maggie were with our foster pups.

  15. Woof! Woof! FUN Happy play. LOVE the name Bandit. The photo turned out good. Happy BlogPaws WW. Lots of Golden Woofs, Sugar

  16. I so admire you for fostering. I have “taken in” lost animals until I could find their owners or a new home, and even that is hard, but I know that if they stay with me any length of time I’ll probably never let them go!

  17. Awww! They play so cute together!

  18. Ultimate bitey face, indeed! Dexter needs a playmate like Bandit.

  19. Our former neighbors are taking a long weekend away and we’re taking care of their dog, Annabelle. They take care of our dog, Dino, when we’re away. Dino always seems bummed out when he has to take leave of Annabelle. They play tug of war. Dino will take his rope over to Annabelle, drop it next to her and yip. She loves to sleep in his bed — then he has to find somewhere else to sleep, but he never tries to get her to move.

Good luck to Bandit. It must be hard to return him, but with Honey’s help, he’s well socialized which will help him find a forever home.

  20. So cute! I bet Honey really does miss Bandit. Just look at how much fun they are having in that video. ♥ ♥ ♥
